If there’s any relationship advice for women that I get asked a lot about, it’s jealousy. It’s a problem that affects both genders. Jealousy is basically there as a defense mechanism. People who get jealous are just defensive of their spouse. It’s a natural reaction to protect what you have, just like in the wild. There is also some extra emotion added that basically communicates our level of insecurity, but that’s a whole different story. In this article, I’m going to show you how you can be jealous of other women without losing your man’s respect for you in the process.

1. Never React Negatively

One of the easiest things to do is indulge in something negative when you’re feeling jealous. Some women get all accusatory to their man if they’re feeling jealous. Some give men the cold shoulder.

Simply put, negative reactions just tell us that you are not as good for us as this other woman. The more insecure you are, the more irrational your behavior. If you feel irrational behavior coming on, make sure to stop it.

2. Talk To The Other Women

The other thing to do is to make sure that you squash this jealousy out of your system by physically going up to the woman, either on your own or with your man and making pleasantries.

Jealousy is an anti-social emotion. If you’re out and about, trying to get to know new people, it totally disappears when you’re talking to the people that you’re feeling jealous about.

3. Compliment Her To Your Man

This is something else that the man might not expect, especially if you’re one to be pretty jealous. If you tell your husband that this woman that you’re jealous of is really nice, fun and bubbly, he’ll agree.

By being genuinely friendly and saying something like this, this communicates an air of confidence. Your man wouldn’t even think that you’re jealous of his female associate. Of course, this takes practice. You don’t want to come off sounding fake about it.

Hopefully this relationship advice for women makes sense to you if you think you’re the jealous type. Remember, jealousy is an anti-social emotion. Get rid of it by talking to the source and go one step further to show your man that she doesn’t affect you negatively in one bit. Over time, you’re going to feel less and less jealousy to the extent that you genuinely enjoy the company of the woman that your man makes acquaintances with.
